ESD Champions
ESD Champions are educators that are taking action to implement ESD into the education system! This includes teachers, administrators, and government officials. Our teacher specific programs are listed here. Below are the programs that focus specifically beyond the classroom.
ESD Networks
Through the development of ESD networks, LSF bringing together educators, researchers, business people, and government and non-government organizations representatives to advance ESD in the formal, non-formal and informal education system. LSF’s goal is to create a network in every Canadian jurisdiction by 2010. The results from the expert dialogue enhances the capacity for systemic change within education and life long learning. These networks contribute to Canada's response to the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development.
Transforming Schools
LSF seeks to advance ESD in all areas of education. The programs inspire educational leaders to create a culture of sustainable development within the education system, spanning from the individual school to the entire jurisdiction. By reaching out to key decision makers, major transformations are being implemented.
