Published two to three times per month, Step Outside is a compilation of seasonal happenings that can be used to bring nature into your classroom. The guides detail specific flora, fauna and climate events, which are often taking place just outside your school - though these may happen sooner or later depending on your location.
Water Docs @ School Program
This partnership program between Learning for a Sustainable Future and EcoLogos promotes student exploration of and action on local water issues, combined with the power of storytelling, through film. This is a hands-on, interdisciplinary learning program for Grade 8 classes to explore local water issues through study, action and film. Students research water issues affecting their local community, develop action projects to address a local issue, capture their project initiatives & success in a short documentary film and compete for an opportunity to showcase their film and project at the Water Docs @ School Day during the Water Docs Film Festival.
