Student Participant Info

Who are the students that will be involved in the YCAC?
We love eco teams, but we encourage you to bring members of your class if possible. Incorporating sustainability Action Projects into curricular teaching helps engage all students and avoid teacher burnout! Not sure how that will work? Don't worry, that's what our PD is all about!

Student Information

Each school can bring up to 5 students to the YCAC.
These students will represent your class/club/school and act as ambassadors to bring ideas and inspiration from the conference back to their peers.

Please Confirm

The YCAC is not a one-day event; it's the beginning of a process!
The purpose of the YCAC is to inspire and empower your students to take on a sustainability Action Project and make a difference in your school/community.
At the conference, your school will be offered a grant to support a student-led sustainability Action Project. You will also be offered ongoing support by a mentor from the community, who will connect with you at the conference.
If you accept this grant and mentorship, you will commit to completing and reporting on a school/community Action Project before the end of May 2026.
For more information on eligible Action Project activities and budget items and the reporting process, check out LSF's Action Project funding page.
